Project description: Isfahan international airport, with 2.6 million passengers in 2014, serves Iran’s third largest city. The Iran Airports Company (IAC) and VINCI Airports have signed a memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the development and expansion of Isfahan airport. Isfahan was the capital of the Persian Empire in the 16th and 17th centuries, renowned for its rich cultural and historic heritage.
Services: An Environmental & Social Due Diligence Assessment (ESDD) for Isfahan Airport was carried out due to received request from our French client, VINCI Airports. Current and past environmental conditions, as well as a cursory overview of the current environmental compliance status of the subject site were Identified during site visit. A materiality threshold of 100,000 EUR was applied per identified issues.
