Petrochemical Special Economic Zone

Project description: Petrochemical Special Economic Zone started it activities in 1998 in an area of 2850h. At present this zone produces 18MT/Y of petrochemical products. 6MT/Y of these products are used for export and the rest are used as raw material in other domestic petrochemical complexes. At start the area of this zone was smaller and in 2006 Rah Shahr International Group prepared the development plan of this region.

Services: Services rendered by SAM Rah Shahr were in the scope of the primary development plan of the region. These services were environmental, social and marine baseline studies, preparation of environmental management and monitoring plan and waste management plan.
