Client: Sazeh Consultants Engineering Company and I.C.O.F.C.

Location: Ilam Province, Iran

Commencement: June 2008

Completion: March 2009

Project description: According to the international commitments for reduction of greenhouse gases and the approval of Ministry of Petroleum, National Iranian Oil Company was (commissioned) ordered to collect oil gases and use them as feedstock in petrochemical industries. In this regard many projects were defined. One of the most important projects was Dehloran NGL3100. In this project a refinery plant will be constructed which will sweeten the oil gas. This product will be then delivered to Dehloran petrochemical. By completing this project major part of the gases burnt in Dehloran oil field will be collected. While creating an added value, it helps prevent the release of these gases in the atmosphere.

Services: At start SAM Rah Shahr was commissioned to do the site selection of NGL 3100 Refinery. After this task it prepared the environmental and social impact assessment studies of the refinery and the gas pipeline and obtained the necessary approvals. Later SAM prepared the environmental and crisis management plan for 13 non industrial buildings of the refinery for construction and operation phases in collaboration with Rah Shahr Architects (one of the companies of Rah Shahr International Group holding).
