POGC Residential Complex

Client: Pars Special Economical Energy Zone

Location: Bushehr Province, Iran

Commencement: September 2012

Completion: February 2013

Project description: Pars Oil and Gas Company (POGC), a subsidiary of National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC), was established in 1998. POGC’s mandate is the development of all phases of South Pars gas fields and North Pars gas fields, Golshan & Ferdowsi respectively. In order to construct residential and recreational complexes, POGC selected plots of land on the south of old Assalouyeh airport, located in site 1 of Pars Special Economic Energy Zone (PSEEZ). Subsequently the decision was made to develop these plots.

Services: PSEEZ as the organization responsible for development of the special economic zone had to approve the plot of lands selected by POGC. In this regard, PSEEZ appointed SAM Rah Shahr for air pollution modelling in site 2 of PSEEZ and the impact of these pollutants on the plot of lands demanded by POGC. Eventually, after the output of SAM Rah Shahr’s studies and the impact of pollutants of phases of site 2 on this region, this project was withdrawn from POGC and PSEEZ agenda.
